Participants will gain hands on and practical experience with laws such as, The Family and Medical Leave Act, The Americans with Disability Act, and Sexual Harassment.
• Interviewing for Today’s Workforce: This learning experience will provide participants with an understanding of recruitment and interviewing, the knowledge and tools needed to screen resumes, conduct effective interviews, and select the most qualified applicant.
• Managing Change: This learning experience will provide participants with an understanding of why change is necessary, why employees resist change, how to overcome the resistance and successfully implement change.
• Effective Communication Skills- This learning experience will provide participants with an understanding of why communication breaks down, an appreciation of the benefits of effective communication, and participants will learn and develop the skills for good interactive communication.
• Motivating Employees- This learning experience will focus on proven techniques for successfully motivating employees to achieve organizational goals. Participants will learn to recognize that motivators vary from person to person, what motivates their
employees, and learn motivational techniques that encourage employees to reach their highest potential.
• Time Management- This learning experience will assist participants to make better use of their valuable time. The experience will focus on practical techniques and information that can be used right away to gain more control over busy schedules, such as planning, prioritizing, and delegating. In addition, the participants will learn how to deal more effectively with meetings, phones, paperwork, interruptions, and emergencies without letting them sidetrack the participant and sabotaging his or her schedule.
